Pancham Achievements

Teacher Training with Doorstep School

In education, Pancham partnered with Doorstep School to strengthen teacher training and modernize classrooms with smart TVs and digital learning tools. These improvements have significantly increased student attendance, enhanced learning outcomes, and reduced school dropout rates.

Skill Development Training for Youth

Pancham has also focused on creating economic opportunities for village youth. Young women received professional driving training and earned commercial driving licenses, making them eligible for employment as state transport bus drivers and opening doors to stable, well-paying careers.

To build on the strengths of local artisans, Pancham organized bamboo weaving and craft workshops, enabling villagers to develop marketable skills using one of the region's most abundant natural resources.

Lake Deepening and Water Conservation Infrastructure

A major water conservation initiative, including lake deepening and related infrastructure, has brought over 230 acres of farmland under assured irrigation. Rising groundwater levels have improved nearby wells, increasing agricultural productivity throughout the village. The revitalized lake also supports community fish farming, generating income for landless families while improving nutrition. Lake fish farming generated ₹ 40,000 in income for landless families and distributed ₹ 20,000 worth of fish to households for nutrition. The remaining ₹20,000 established a community development fund. This sustainable initiative provides economic, nutritional, and institutional benefits to the tribal village.

Other Development Programs

Agricultural development through quality rice seeds, paddy transplanters, and vegetable cultivation, helping families diversify income and improve food security. Vegetable cultivation over 6 acre of land, is now yielding ₹15,000 per family.

Establishment of an Information Center to improve access to government welfare schemes.

Strengthening the Gram Sabha to improve community governance and local decision-making.

Installation of a Water ATM providing safe drinking water.
