Savade is a Warli tribal village in Palghar district, spread across 23 hamlets nestled in hilly terrain. The community primarily depends on rice and gavar cultivation for its livelihood. With limited employment opportunities beyond the farming season, many families migrate in search of work. The village has four primary schools and one secondary school, presenting an opportunity to strengthen education while creating sustainable livelihoods within the community.
Promote sustainable livelihoods by supporting the cultivation of amla orchards and helping women's self-help groups develop, process, and market value-added amla products.
