Pancham

pancham

Pancham marks a major shift from pass-through donations to direct, purpose-driven impact, designed to create sustainable, long-term change through holistic village development.

Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Pancham brings meaningful, integrated solutions directly to rural communities.

The initiative is ideated, funded, and monitored by Maharashtra Foundation, while experienced local NGO partners turn these ideas into action on the ground, ensuring that every effort is rooted in local needs and by developing customized solutions that are owned and sustained by the community itself.

Vibrant villages

Growing Stronger, One Village at a Time

Pancham’s journey began with Kusumbi and Mutnur—two villages that reflect the diversity and unique challenges of rural Maharashtra. Since then, our mission has steadily expanded, partnering with more communities to create lasting, sustainable change.

By strengthening education, healthcare, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, and environmental stewardship, we help villages build the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to become self-reliant. As our journey continues, we remain committed to bringing the Pancham model to many more villages across the state.

Be a Part of Pancham's Journey

Our dream is to establish at least one Pancham village in each of Maharashtra’s 36 districts. Achieving this vision will require the support of individuals, families, corporations, and foundations who believe that lasting change begins at the grassroots.

Together, we can build a healthier, more prosperous, and more sustainable Maharashtra—one village, one district, one community at a time.

Please join us in making this vision a reality.
